Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri had applied for the Canadian immigration in 2008 under the name Abdul Shakoor Qadri following threats from banned outfits and Dr. Qadri also took social welfare financial benefits in Canada.
In response to this recent biased propaganda against Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri that was a total lie, it is appreciated that Baaghi TV looked into the issue and brought forth the realities and facts. Here is a link to their research which clarifies this rumorcompletely: http://www.baaghi.tv/baaghi_web_tv_news.php?id=26&sub_id=&news_id=293
In response to the recent biased campaign against Pakistan’s only hope Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Baaghi TV has decided to look into the issue and bring forth the realities and facts.
Some newspapers, for example Daily Insaaf and Nawa-i-Waqt, have recently published news making obscure claims regarding Dr. Qadri. We must stress here that all such claims – as our investigation revealed — are fabricated and baseless.
Let’s start with Daily Insaaf. The newspaper, whose editor is the infamous Junaid Saleem (Yes, the same guy who hosts Hasb-e-Haal on DunyaTv) alleges that the Canadian Police has summoned Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on January 27th for breaking political asylum rules. The newspaper claims that Dr. Qadri had applied for the Canadian immigration in 2008 under the name Abdul Shakoo rQadri following threats from banned outfits such as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah Sahaba. It also alleges that Dr. Qadri enjoyed financial benefits in Canada.
Here is a clipping from the newspaper.
A person with some sort of wisdom (clearly Junaid Saleem has none as he failed to see the glaring blunders he made while writing the report) would know that this is not how things operate in real world. Let us explain what we mean.
Infact, let our evidences do all the talking:
Here is an official document of the Canadian government proving that Dr. Qadri and his family received the nationality on March 31st, 1999 – and not June 2012 as claimed by Daily Insaaf’s report.
The same document also disproves the claim that he had applied for the citizenship under the name Abdul Shakoor Qadri. Why on earth would someone apply for a citizenship under a different name when his passport and all other documents have his real name? Is that even possible? The answer, of course is NO!
Baaghi’s investigation team got hold of more evidences to prove that all recent propaganda against Dr. Qadri in press is completely biased and fabricated. Here is the passport of Dr. Qadri which was issued on June 24th, 2005 – and expired on June 24th 2010, after which he was issued a new passport. His passport has his real name on it.
Nawa-i-Waqt also claimed that Dr. Qadri would leave for Canada on January 27th, 2013 as he is summoned by Canadian government. We all know that the religious leader is still in Pakistan and has publicly announced that he will stay in Pakistan. Will Nawa-i-Waqt apologize for publishing a news based on utter nonsense and self-imagination?
The nuisance didn’t stop here.
Those who do not want Dr. Qadri to succeed in his mission came up with another way to defame him.
A letter addressing Abdul Shakoor was widely circulated stating that he is no longer eligible for the social assistance in Canada.
After some basic research, Baaghi team found out that the letter has been tempered with and this too is nothing more than a ridiculous attempt to malign Dr. Qadri’s noble cause. Some blatant blunders prove that the letter is fake and contrived.
First, the date mentioned on the letter is December 4th, 2012 – but we all know that Dr. Qadri arrived in Pakistan on December 21st, 2012. How can Dr. Qadri be given this letter when he didn’t leave for Canada before December 21st?
Secondly, at the top left corner it says “as known as Tahir Qadri.” Have you ever seen an official document from the state addressing the recipient this way? We bet even the Somali pirates wouldn’t use this sort of language when they ask for ransom – let alone the Canadian government.
Baaghi didn’t leave any stone unturned to make sure that we bring forth truth. Our contacts in Canada were then mobilized and they shared the following evidences.
Address – as mentioned in the letter: 62 Songwood Dr,
Pictures of the house
Baaghi’s contacts confirmed that the address in the letter is that of Mr. D’AGOSTIONO ELSA who has lived in this house with his wife since 1969 and the couple have never left or rent out the property to anyone.
This letter – like previous reports and letters – also proved to be another unreasonable attempt to halt Dr. Tahirul Qadri’s mission of making Pakistan a progressive state.
Why are these black sheep in journalism trying to defame a person who wants a Pakistan which is corruption and injustice free. Mainstream media and its minions such as Junaid Saleem need to come forward and explain who are they actually serving?
ARY’s anchor person Mubasher Lucman also clarified this during an episode of his program Kharra Sach.
